Description

The purpose of this role is to train and develop the incumbent into a qualified Millwright artisan. The apprentice will undergo a 3–4 year training programme in line with company and SETA requirements. During this time, they will gain both theoretical knowledge and hands-on technical experience in plant operations, maintenance, and repair, while working under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Complete apprenticeship programme per company/SETA requirements
• Maintain safe, clean working environment
• Learn and apply technical knowledge in plant/equipment
• Assist with planning, budgeting, and preparing jobs
• Repair breakdowns and perform maintenance

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with Mathematics &Science
• Minimum National Technical certificate(N4) to complete a program in the various Trades: - Millwright
• Higher qualification in the relevant engineering discipline (N5/N6 would be advantageous)
• Engineering Aptitude
